Railway station is a workplace where many agencies work together and it has been fit that without synchronized efforts the achievable targets become unachievable. In previous contract of cleaning separate arrangments were made for station cleaning, watering of train, cleaning of platform returned train and clean train station activity which could not ensure optimum utilization of man power, machines and other resources. So an integrated contract with work station management for rag picking, watering of bypass trains, mechanised cleaning of coaches unter CTS and PRT has been engaged and the mammoth task of integration has been achieved.

A workstation is a place where work of a particular nature is carried out. For better customer services, we have implemented this concept for station cleaning as well. Each cleaning staff is given a well defined designated area which he has to clean, which includes platform cleaning, Office cleaning, dustbin cleaning, waterbooth cleaning etc and whenever a train arrives, the same staff has to do the watering of coaches falling under his area. In this way, holistic cleaning of the area takes place resulting in better customer experience.
Drains are very crucial to maintane a high level of hygene and cleanliness. To achieve tis ambitions goal, we have deployed a dedicated eam for de-silting. De-silting keeps water flowing in drains and prevents stagnation of water in drains. During de-silting activity the staff use adequate personal safety equipments i.e. hand gloved, mask and gumboots.
There is a dedicated team for rag picking in whole station premises. This team quickly collect rag before it goes to drain. During rag picking activity the staff wear personal safety equipment i.e. hand gloves, mask and shoes etc.
