Jaipur Junction Railway Station is an energy efficient station . The station has been awarded ' Rajasthan Energy Conservation Award 2017 ' and 'National Energy Conservation Award 2018. Certain Features of Energy Efficiency:

• 1050 Kwp Solar Power plant : Approx. 67% of energy demand is met from solar power generated.
• 100% LED Lighting : Load reduction approx. 74 KW with approx saving Rs.2.25 Lakh per month.
• .BEE star rated electrical Appliances : Energy saving by Approx.22%.
• HVLS ( High Volume Low Speed) jambo fan in concorse Hall.
• Occupancy Sensors in regular frquent occupied areas such as Upper Class waiting Hall, 3rs AC Waiting hall, offices & Retiring Rooms.
• Astronomical Timers in street lighting & High Mast Towers.
• Energy Efficient BLDC ceiling fans at all stationrooms,Platforms, waiting halls , & offices
